Molly is currently 17 and has just released her first CD with the "RedSkunk Jipzee Swing Band". I offered to put it online so her fans could buy it through PayPal.

As a 7th grader Molly was extremely involved in sports when a illness caused her to give up sports. With the help of Jim Murphy (Master Murphy to his students) she discovered she could play her favorite Beatle tunes! In 8th grade she joined Mr. Belyea's Los Osos middle school Jazz band. Summer of 8th Grade she attended two Youth Jazz camps. 9th grade had her in the Morro Bay HS Jazz Band and Marching Band. The Morro Bay Jazz band had 5 outstanding musician awards at the Fullerton Jazz Festival of which Molly was awarded one for rhythm guitar. One of her highlights was her first Banjo performance where she got to play with Saxophone player Jeff Coffin at the PAC. That Spring she spent weekends playing banjo for a local Dixieland band "The Mud Skippers". The last 3 summers she has received scholarships to different Jazz Camps (Thanks Dr. Jazz & Basin Street Regulars!) Molly has played on the County honors Jazz Band and has been a guest artist with the "Mighty Aphrodite" & "Titan Hot Seven". Molly now a 17 year old 12th grader plays about 20 hours a week and is enjoying her High School Jazz Band. Her favorite instruments are Banjo, Guitar, Trombone and piano. She plays Thursday nights at "Bon Temps Creole Cafe" and often fills in with other bands.
